Vanessa McGowan is a New Zealand-born bassist, vocalist, writer, and music mentor based in Wisconsin and Nashville, currently working as the bass player, backing vocalist, and Musical Director for Molly Tuttle.

When not on tour, Vanessa draws on her two decades of experience touring the world to help female artists overcome self-doubt and build sustainable creative lives, runs apparel store Blue Pine Door County, and enjoys life in Wisconsin with her partner and two cats.
